Terms of service
Last updated October 9, 2026. Peak COI is a service of Rocky Mountain Apps ("we").
The service
We collect certificates of insurance from your subcontractors and vendors, review them against requirements you provide, contact your subcontractors and their insurance agents about missing or expiring coverage, and report compliance status to you.
What we are not
We are not an insurance agency, broker or law firm. We do not sell insurance, interpret policy language beyond what a certificate shows, or advise what coverage you should require. A certificate of insurance is information only and does not change any policy; we cannot guarantee that coverage shown on a certificate is in force.
Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate requirements and keep them current.
- Decide whether a subcontractor may work; our reports inform that decision but do not make it.
- Have the right to share the documents you send us.
Billing
Plans bill monthly in advance by card. You may change or cancel your plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Founding-client free months convert to paid unless cancelled before renewal.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for losses arising from a subcontractor's lack of coverage.
Data
You own your records. You can export them at any time, and we delete them within 60 days of cancellation unless you ask us to keep them. See the privacy policy.
